Project Overview
As a UX/UI at Rangam, I led the redesign of the Job Seeker experience tasked with creating a modern, sleek, and interactive interface that speaks directly to diverse job seekers, including those supported through SourceAbled (disability-inclusive) and SourceVets (veteran hiring) programs.
Goal: Improve usability and engagement across all candidate segments.
Impact
40%
Increase in user engagement: Users explored more sections, clicked on job listings, and spent longer on the site after the redesign.
38-42%
Boosted inclusive program adoption:
Programs like SourceAbled and SourceVets saw more users applying or interacting with them because the redesign made them easier to find and understand.
25%
Reduced cognitive load:
Simplified layout helped users including neurodivergent individuals and veterans find what they needed quickly and easily.

Research & Empathy Mapping
I conducted 10 user interviews and heuristic evaluations, focusing on emotional pain points (e.g., frustration, confusion), particularly among neurodivergent and veteran job seekers.
There were two main user groups with unique needs:
1. General job seekers: Looking for an intuitive way to explore roles and resources.
2. Inclusive-focused job seekers: Needing clear guidance on programs like SourceAbled and SourceVets, and transparency around accommodations.

8/10
Outdated & Static Layout
